Found out a week ago that I'm going to be a father
, but that means I 've got to sell my car, hate to do it but it's all about priorities now, and I suppose there will always be others later on down the road

its a euro car runs excellent, just replaced shift bushings and steering rack, 11 pass fender mount oil cooler blue/black cloth interior, dash cover, po installed brand new a/c compressor but did not upgrade to r134 or whatever the current gas is being used so I would change the oil and convert it. The car sat in storage for 7 or 8 years, I have been using it as a daily driver for about 9 months with no problems. quart of oil every 3-4 tanks of fuel.

My two boys fit perfectly in the back seats. They are 7 and 9 years old. If you've already gone throuigh the car, it would be a shame to want one in a few years and have to do it again when money is tighter with kid expenses. i've been there and find it much easier now that my car is 98% perfect. My 7 year old claims the 911sc and the 9 year old claimed the 928s before I sold it. I had two Porsches at one time.
My opinion,

Keep it!!! I purchased my first 911 while my wife was 6 months pregnant with our 3rd child! When it all gets to much at home the car is a great outlet and like Ron said the kids will fit happily in the back for around 10 years.

A 911 is the 'perfect' family car. Smaller children can easily fit in the back seat, and want to
I got my P-car when my youngest was too old for a car seat, but it can be made to work. As for going places with others, that's where the 911 is the most practical........"We only have 4 seats, we'll take your car."

77targa,
That is my absolute favorite SC color, ever! My buddy had that color on his '78 many, many moons ago. It is the car that "bit me," and I have had Porsche on the brain since! Keep it. Really. Factor what could you get for it vs what it really is worth to you. Then factor in what it'll cost you later to get a good, well-sorted 911 that you could trust. You're much better off just getting a good, reliable family car (Japanese is relatively inexpensive and rock-solid reliable) for family hauling, and keep your SC for daily duty and the occasional romp with just your litle one (after he/she gets old enough to get into a front-facing child seat). Then your child is going to grow up loving the sound and senses of 911-dom. TRUST me on this; I've got 4 that fight for a ride when I "have" to take them in the Porsche. It's a great way to bond. So if you "really" want to sell, then someone else is getting a nice one. But if you're just selling because you think that family concerns are mutually exclusive to 911 ownership, then I hope I've given you something to think about![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And congrats on your new addition!!
