Default Can anyone help with a CarFax?

Looking for some assistance in obtaining a CarFax report on an 83' 911SC appears to be too good to be a true deal but need some verification. Any help would be appreciated.

I can PM the VIN.

Thanks in advance.

I think i would consider a car fax on an almost 40 year old car pretty useless
You can get them yourself online. Just get your CC out

Hey "theiceman", thanks for the deep thought, useless comment. If you didn't care to help, don't post. I did get the info I needed. And it was not useless.

I did get the info I needed. Cheap is not in my vocabulary but yet again, another unnecessary comment from the peanut gallery. What is it with you guys? I have been on this forum for years. I do not post at all. I figured this would be the place for useful information. It has been. It could also be the place to solicit help when a fellow enthusiast would need a hand. Guess I got that wrong.

The fact of the matter is; There was a real discrepancy in the odometer readings. Seems the car never moved in 10 years but did change state. That would not be a problem except on close inspection the actual gauge was not centered as was a warning lamp just above the speedo. It appears that the speedo was removed for some time as the mileage stated does not match the overall condition of the vehicle. The report indicated as such. So I did not purchase..

Then you should have paid up. Like I said, stop being cheap. What you did here is basically like pan handling. You want a $1 for some gas too?

You need to get a life other than trashing others.

I call it holding others accountable. You can own it or be defensive.

You are not asking for help you are asking for a handout

Now off you go and run along ..

Its all good though.

You must be an ole guy. A $1 will only get you about a 1/4 gallon in my area.
