You guys are asses. Every time I bought a carfax I got a five pack and gave the other four away and on other occasions someone gave me a free one.

Years ago carfax saved me from buying a car with 125k km rolled back on the odometer.

Carfax easily misinterpreted I put a car up FS, had 5 owners in 32 years, the fifth was an independent dealer/ P-car mechanic that took the car to help wife's owner (R.I.P.) sell the car, so basically 4 owner/drivers. Car Gurus got hold of the CF and posted 10 owners! Took 2 months to get them to reverse their decision. When I purchased the car in 2013 I talked extensively with the dealer/mechanic selling it, what Mooty said... Talk to people, a lost art...
