When I picked up one of my new 968s a few months ago I was surprised to see it fitted with an 17" x 8" cup1 wheel in the front. The part number is 965.362.126.01. I've tried researching its actual true application (not correct for a 968) but I've found mixed results. I know they came on a 964 but I've seen it listed as both a front and a rear wheel. Which is it? Thanks

The 91-92 turbos came with 7&9" cup I's the RSA std and 92-94 C2/C4 964 optional came with the 7&8" sizes. Although a common upgrade is to use the 8's up front and 9's in the rear these never came from the factory on any production car as 8&9' x 17

Did the US cup cars come with both CupI's in this size and or the speedline 3 piece modular wheel in 18" or was that a ROW thing?

I have seen some listings for the 964 cup car 9 1/2" speedline as ET 47. I have a set of 3.8RSR speedlines 9 1/2" ET 57 and 11" ET 5. They actually mark the 9.5 as 9 1/2" I was curious what info you have for the 9.5 speedlines used on the rear of the ROW cup cars was it ET 47 or ET 57? I am trying to find out if the RSR fronts are the same as the Cup car rears. The calculations seem to tell me the 47 is incorrect.

9.5x17(965 362 128 05) are ET68 and a 21mm spacer is needed for net ET47
the 3 piece 9.5x18(965 362 138 05) are ET47

This would make two versions of the 9.5" wheel but the part number being the same is confusing

These are original factory wheels. but came from a 3.8RSR with center lock hubs.

I am confused by this? I checked the part numbers after I posted and they read the same as mine but show to be ET 57 and not 47.

The info I posted comes from factory parts book for '92 & 93 Carrera 2 Cup & partially confirmed w/ factory wheel TSBs
Just a guess but one of 2 things seems likely
1) mistake
2) for the low production run RSR they used a center from 1 wheel and lip from another
