Forgive my ignorance (and laziness) - have any of these cases been delivered?

Default A common problem

Hi Guys ,
I haven't followed this topic since the cases were first announced and loved following all the updates . I stumbled upon a reference to new 911 cases over on Pelican and someone had a link posted to this topic . Just as an aside I thought I'd throw this out ; I'm involved with O scale model trains and close to decade ago a fellow announced he would be producing the most detailed , best running O scale brass diesel engines ever made . There was a lot of hype , pics of sub assembly prototype parts etc - and of course deposits taken . You could just about slot in the engine cases for the brass model trains . A seemingly brilliant guy with a great ideas and a lot of energy , but who has no idea how to run a business . I'm out close to the cost of the engine cases on deposits and I doubt I'll ever see anything . Deposits go back at least 5 years with no end in sight . It's the same situation in that the guy has refused to return deposits , won't answer the phone or e-mails . Somehow it's my belief in both cases ( no pun intended ) the seller wasn't trying to scam anyone , but just didn't manage their projects well enough to get them to market . I guess you could only hope some miracle plays out and they both recover .
Regards,
Bryan

This whole saga just bums me out, and we've all seen it happen so many times in the enthusiast market. One hopes that an established business can come in and buy out this dude for all the work he put into it, because there's obviously an appetite for the product. Here's hoping it works out for the guy, and somehow the early buyers can get something to show for it. I gotta believe he's not trying to scam people and I hope he figures it out....but it's definitely a cautionary tale in buying into the unknown.

Did these cases ever get built? Seems like a good idea. It looks like legit photos, but maybe he ran out of money? Any updates?

I shot him a text. He is posting on his website as of this Summer. I offered a hand. We have the machines and no how as we build a lot of aerospace parts for ATK and Boeing. Id be happy to see if it is salvagable, or if cash is the only reason it failed. The picture aren't fake, that I am sure of. The processes and fixtures look good as well.

At this point, I don't have much hope. I put in orders years ago and put down a deposit on three cases. I gave up and asked for a refund last September and Adam promised he'd send me a refund. It has never materialized even with repeated promises of "soon" or "next week". I'm cutting my losses.
