Quick dumb question
I'm new to Rennlist but a long time Porsche and all around car enthusiast.
Throughout the forum I keep seeing the 911 turbo S referred to as a "TTS" and I was wondering what TTS stands for exactly.
Thanks!

Welcome!
No question is to dumb for us. We all gobble up anything Porsche.
"TT" stands for twin turbo. The "S" distinguishes the model from the standard "TT". Both are awesome cars no mater what year.
Cheers,
Johan

BTW (by the way) there are many versions of 911 series over the years so check the forum list for the appropriate year/style Porsche that engages your interest. We're air cooled here

I think all twin turbos in production cars are water cooled so you may want to look there for more info. Water cooled forum under turbos.
