"TT" stands for twin turbo. The "S" distinguishes the model from the standard "TT". Both are awesome cars no mater what year.

BTW (by the way) there are many versions of 911 series over the years so check the forum list for the appropriate year/style Porsche that engages your interest. We're air cooled here
