I like the idea of the Cargraphic module since it plugs into the OEM bits, but the install is a bit of a turn off.

I think all of the value controller on the market is quite a hassle to install.

If you can live with the valves open all the time just take the line off the valves and plug them...don't leave them open.

You can take the vacuum lines off that go to the two exhaust valves and plug them...very easy to do and you will clearly see them once under the car. You do need to plug the lines or you will get a CEL due to the vacuum leak.
This will leave the exhaust valves all the time open because there's no vacuum to shut them.

Is a valve control unit something that we can expect a Porsche dealership be OK to install? I’m thinking so, but want to know if anyone has had a prior experience.

I couldn't really hear any difference before and after for all the hassle of installing.

+1 ...was a nice 15 minute infomercial for Ohlins however....was wondering when Vince would appear and bust out the ShamWoW!!

And also make sure whatever you use can't be suck up the vacuum line!

it’s entirely superficial and has no bearing on any mechanism outside of itself.

It’s exists solely to meet the strict EU sound pollution laws... so make sure you are living in an area with “normal” sound laws and you will be fine.

The idea was at one time to select your valve setting to be quiet when you wanted it to and loud when you did not - now it’s quiet and quieter.

I asked a professional to install it for me. He billed me for 2 hours of work. So, not too much of a hassle. Works as advertised.
