Bullsh1t. Ive tested many a pump gas in my Stage4 TTS and Shell 93 is the best here, it can hold the most power - boost and timing.

We've also broke in engines on an engine dyno and different fuels made different power.

Costco is on the https://www.toptiergas.com/gasoline-brands/ list along with Shell and has the lowest price.

12000 km with this beast. The bimimi configuration is my favorite. The sound of the engine is crazy from 4k rpm and the flight towards 9k such enjoyable, giving a racing car atmosphere in the cabin.
The car is very easy to drive on B roads, sticking to the road even if it gets bumpy. The cornering support is good, and the oversteer on exit is quite healthy and predictable so much so that it is easy to play with it without getting scared. Provided the road is warm, you should not play with the Cup2 in cold weather like a september night.
I'm tempted to do some upgrades, starting with ceramic discs, iron ones are dusty and it's a pain to watch wheels again and again.I am also interested in the JCR exhaust discussed in this thread, as exhaust sound is missing to accompany the intake one. And maybe some hp gain comes with it?
Crazy car .

I don’t want to derail this thread, but if you think Costco performs as good as shell 93 go hard.

does Costco even sell 93 oct? You realize these cars need 93 oct as per the fuel door. Otherwise you’re losing timing.

I believe M Engineering has had good success tuning these engines, there is a bit left on the table in stock form. (With good fuel and an exhaust system)

12K Km that’s the highest I’ve seen yet, well done.

How is your oil consumption? I’ve used about 1mm on the gauge in the first 2500km.

I would never buy a Porsche GT car if there's any evidence it was 'tuned'. These engines do a good enough job of failing without being tuned.

Funny you say this, I was just reading the entire 4RS engine failure thread.

Seems suspicious they changed the oil…

This is like people who won't buy Kirkland (or Costco) brand coffee even though it's made by Starubcks, or Kirkland batteries even though they are made by Duracell, and so on and on.

I'm pretty sure that list has become a sell out and will list you if you join their "program". it's a for profit entity not a non-profit organization..

"Top Tier" is a brand name. It doesn't represent the "top" of a "tiered" rating system for fuel.

I always roll my eyes when people proclaim, 'XXX gas is Top Tier!'

They could just rebrand to Purple Elephant and it would be the same. 'XXX gas is Purple Elephant!'

Happy to.

I've done 1,400 miles on my car throughout the Rockies. I have nothing new to offer on the driving impressions that hasn't been discussed on here countless times other than to say that I absolutely love it.

The spec is:
  • Blood Orange via the PTS Plus program
  • Satin Aluminum wheels
  • Matching Satin Aluminum decals
  • Pebble Grey stitching
  • Painted hood
  • Non-RS taillights (to bring in some silver elements to complement the silver trim throughout the car) from Europe (to blink amber)
  • Heritage RS crest decal for the hood and Heritage colored crests for the wheel caps
  • Custom seat inserts from Rstrada
And the pictures:

The color sits somewhere between Lava Orange and Guards Red, depending on lighting conditions and camera settings. In person, it almost always reads orange (almost), and is best described as Lava Orange without any of the salmon pink. It makes Gulf and Pastel orange look very, very yellow in comparison.
