If anyone has a lead on a Spyder RS allocation, please let me know. Willing to pay an ADM. Just trying to hold out versus buying one used. Would prefer to spec it to my liking, fully loaded :-)

Just FYI Porsche dealers are turning into Ford dealers. A Porsche dealer wanted an ADM (which I was fine with) BUT required me to finance the purchase through Porsche finance. I told the salesperson to pound sand. So I would stay away from these sketchy dealers if I were you! Porsche dealers are likely going to start requiring you to etch your windows, get LoJack and Scotch Guard. This is why manufactures need to be allowed to sell directly to customers.

Anyone interested in a white SRS with mag wheels with sticker 213k? I am not into whites but apparently it’s an east coast dealer asking 30k over including PPF.

If you don’t have a strong existing relationship with a dealer, expect they’ll get stuff out of you.

It all has a cash cost, so just add it up and compare what it actually means.

Porsche financial…meh, ok go along with that and pay it or refi off 4 months later.

After release, I personally contacted over 100 dealer GM/SM. Had like 6 valid offers. Had 2 brokers also scouring deals.

I actually passed on a “MSRP” offer as it included a $30K dealer pack and my 2021 Spyder in trade at a low offer.

Bloated builds are another way to extract cash…unless you’re building that exact spec.

Call around, build a spreadsheet, do the mats, pick best offer.

Better hurry, just remaining calendar year 2024 allocations and 1 more drop left after that.

Apparently 600 of these SRS are coming to Canada and around 950-1000 GT3s will come here as well.

If anyone needs in Canada, a few dealers have allocations and some have some incoming that are nicely spec'd

That seems pretty high given historical averages of these cars. Think the Canada Spyder rate was around 20-25% of US. How many dealers up there…dozen or so?

Does anyone have any insight into the timing / number of rounds of SRS allocations that are coming? I'm hearing about dealers getting one off cars with short runway to finalize build, but no "regular" allocations with build dates 3-6 months out. Short runway bonus allocations of course can't get PTS
Also, premiums seem to be 25k.....hopefully heading lower

There’s 21 dealers in Canada. 600 does seem high, unless the total run approaches that of the GT Spyder.

What's a casual 28 Spyder RSs per dealer between friends?

If you're surfing RL for Spyder RSs, expect they'll be all sorts of strings.

How long is a piece of string?

Every string has a cost that you can calculate. Finanacing string, don't like it just pay it off in a couple of months.

Start calling around or use a broker.

TYD is showing that production was supposed to start for me last week, but that hasn’t actually happened yet.

My Spyder seemed to flow pretty smoothly through the process in early 2022, Hoping for the same with the RS.
