Try to find someone local with PIWIS. If you can't find anyone, I can do this remotely. Just finished coding two cars in Boston and one in NY. I documented everything in the coding thread

I am having a hard time following this lol. I have put the top up with the engine running and not running (key fully to the right). I also use the buttons like Larry, and have never had to turn the car off and on. 95% of the time I put the top up the car is off.

Can't you simply hold the lock button on the fob to latch the roof? I don't have my spyder yet but I swore I saw a vid where the dude latched the roof after putting it up with the key fob

No not on a stock US 718 Spyder.
