GT4 RS: have economics changed?

^^^ You are going to wait at least a year or two when you place your Huracan order to get your car, But Lamborghini supposedly only allows dealers to sell at MSRP.
Unfortunately for me, I've never ordered a new Lamborghini myself. But that's my understanding of their process.

But I do see it on here all the time, get Ferrari, Lambo, McC, etc for same or less than GT4RS.
Just curious as I ponder the Spyder RS and that discussion with my OPC.

The question is whether a newbie can walk in and get that price. Or will they have to have a history of previous ownership to get one, to get up high enough on the list.

Exactly, tecnica is the closest one among the picks(in terms of high rev na mr setup). I'm at the mercy of my local lambo dealer in getting one @msrp & my modest spec is close to 300k. But without driven one not sure I'd give up a 4rs for it given the opportunity to be honest.

Question for the forum: how do you think about GT4 RS values now? On the downside, 1) Porsche will presumably focus on GT4 RS production after announcing the end of the GT4 and Spyder lines. The RS will be less scarce. 2) PTS and CXX are on hold until 2024, according to my dealer, 3) price increase from $149K to $163K brings highly-speced cars into the $220 - $225K range, just a chip shot away from Roma territory. 4) ADMs are $50 - 75K, maybe more in some areas, although I’m guessing there could be adjustments at the margin due to Porsche’s price increase. On the positive side, 1) the car is the pinnacle of the GT4 world and is among the last gas-powered GT4s.
IMHO the closest car in Ferrari-land to the GT4 RS is the 458 Speciale or perhaps 430 Scuderia.

The 4RS is a super fun car on and off the track. Probably will keep a premium over current MSRP values. Not sure how much. Mine was a 2023 model, $203k MSRP which is what I paid for it plus taxes. Would I have paid ADM if asked to? Maybe. It's a pretty good car. I could see these bringing $235-250k for awhile.

Porsche is cranking out a ton of these 4 RS already, will be the most mass produced RS car in Porsche history. As I said before, suspect will be more 4 RS made than 992 GT3s. Yet people are paying higher ADMs for the 4RS which is bizarre. The price increase will help keep the used price propped up for sure. Glad mine is 2023

Can you define "a ton of?" I'm really missing something because out of 6 dealerships I have relationships with all received single digit, I meant low single digit allocations and all spoken for. While I see no point they would lie to me but I'm just very curious if there's really no supply issue why it seems like it's hard to get? or just too early to tell since we have another year to go?

I would likely to believe his job is done after the car is released and he doesn't have much control of the real world supply issue and factory capacity. Of course in a perfect world Porsche would like to build as many as they can sell. only time will tell.

I often find it very naive to listen to any of the "press talk" from anyone. With all due respect to AP, he also said something like no fake vent of some sort when he was talking about GT3 but surely there are some.

I can't believe used GT3's are going for less than new GT4RS's. In Australia our market is not seeing that, however we pay a lot higher MSRP, but ADM is not allowed.
Used GT3's are for sale between $520k - $640k AUD ($347k - $427k USD) - also private car sales don't include stamp duty, so you potentially add another $30k AUD
New GT4RS's well specced will cost you $380-$400k AUD ($253k - $267k USD)
Comparatively, a new GT4RS is a bargain.

Yes, but those GT3s aren't selling and are put on the market by private sellers also known as flippers. They are simply not worth the coin at those prices and the market here knows and understands that. In reality, the 991.2 GT3 touring is a way better car in Australian conditions.
Moreover, in Australia Porsche GT cars are sold at MSRP. Furthermore, the cars are up-specced compared to US models and EU models (a sop to the regressive LCT). A GT4 RS goes for around $AUD370k - a lot of first timers are over speccing these cars, I can understand the enthusiasm but its generally a mistake in this particular market.
The GT4RS really is a bargain, especially in comparison to the 992 GT3 RS which will be brutal on Australian roads. Also, its a much more interesting car than the 992 GT3 - which has become a very large and rather boring car to drive on Australian roads.
