Hi guys, my car just arrived to the Porsche dealership, and unfortunately my order wasn’t able to get the PDLS. Does anyone know if I can swap it myself later, but my sales said I can retrofit. Can someone confirm this?

I can’t answer your question re: retrofitting PDLS unfortunately. I just came here to say beautiful car! I hope you’re able to do the retrofit and have it be perfect to you

There’s some threads on the retrofit of the PDLS. It can be done but the cost is crazy and there’s a ton of wiring changes that go into it. Basically it’s not worth it.

How did you get Weissach Package and painted hood? Was it CXX? Thought you could only get the painted stripe if you selected WP

I don’t think we can get the cf stripe here in Asia. I only see it with full cf even when select weissach on the configuration . I requested cxx to have a painted hood because I feel the car is already looking very aggressive enough with the aero design.

I was in the exact same boat as you, no PDLS to option. The parts / service department already confirmed no retrofitting. But then again that's here in HK, they aren't even willing to do a PCCB retrofit.

Haha i'm over it already it. The more I look at mine the more I like it. Maybe just a case of liking what i have not what i don't.

Personally, I prefer the look (not the performance) of the std headlights. Just enjoy it, you'll forget about the lights in no time

Retrofit PLDS+ here. The question will be. Is it worth it for you? I will be more interested in the Full Matrix retrofit.

It can't be done without hacking and into the wiring...I wouldn't do it. But you can check out TWL Carbon headlight upgrade.

I prefer fully painted hood as well. Too busy with the exposed CF hood, the car is plenty aggressive. Just never seen it on a WP. Thought Porsche did not offer fully painted hood with the WP. Glad to see it!

Great car, mind sharing the CXX cost for the painted hood?

As for PDLS, my understanding is that the harness and control modules are different. I'm sure a 'cost is no object' approach could get it done, but practically, no.
