yeah if too much work, I will leave it. The hood cxx is quite expensive. It’s around 11000 usd.

This is the thread I saved on the retrofit. I'm going to have to really want to keep this car forever to brave this. I wonder how many cases of beer this guy would need to help me do it.

Beautiful colour mate. As for the lights don't worry, Colour more than makes it up.
I was chatting to my dealer today and he said that LED lights no longer an option for RSs here in Australia; he's usually spot on.

Lovely car and colour. Agree that retro-fitting PDLS is not worth it. Buy another P car to drive at night!

It's hilarious. Non WP gets an included painted hood, you pay $13k for WP, then another $11k to get the hood painted again.

Don't forget the additional $13,100 MSRP increase if you're having to wait for a 2024. I remember seeing videos from Willow Springs of the cars and spotting a yellow one without Weissach and thinking how damned good it looked with a painted hood. The standard car still has a carbon hood, right? So it seems like it should be a no cost option to just have the hood however you like if you're ponying up for the Weissach Package. If you've ever seen a 991 GT2 RS with a painted hood you know that looks way better too.

WP, mag wheels, painted stripe, and 2024 price bumps alone would cover the cost of a nice 996 Turbo...

Congrats. Car looks beautiful.
Its the first time I've seen a painted hood on a WP car. I requested this several months back and Porsche said it wasn't an option and that the carbon hood was the only offering with WP.
