My 981S was a basic spec which I bought off the lot, and has "vinyl everything" except the leather seating surfaces. For my incoming 4.0, which I see as the last NA manual mid-engine ICE Porsche I will likely ever be able to choose - and plan to keep to the grave - I went full-on with the leather & stitching, even on the steering column and end caps of the dash. And buckets & Burmester...

It really depends on the type of build you’re going for…
GT4 track-focused build, skip it.
GTS touring-focused lux build, must have!
I went for the latter. Here’s the Espresso I just ordered on my CGTS!
Think it’ll contrast well with the brushed aluminum trim, silver gray seatbelts, and white gauges.
