My "Old Man" CGTS 4.0 Build!

My "Old Man" CGTS 4.0 Build!
It's official! Have an order and allocation for a Cayman GTS! Calling this an "old man" build because it's rather conservative and because I plan to keep this car well into my old man years...
This forum has already been extremely helpful and I appreciated all the feedback from everyone on my proposed build here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...ild-input.html
Based on recommendations, I opted to skip the sun visors in Race-Tex and to add the leather steering column and brushed aluminum trim. After configuring my build, I found that C&D's long term CGTS is a very similar build. Same color combo but just with the darker wheels. It's been helpful having these more realistic photos to reference, especially for the interior:

Originally was planning to do ED but the car should be produced rather soon and ED was booked through summer. I tagged the Atlanta Porsche Experience Center Delivery and waiting on confirmation from my SA that I'll be squared away with that.
Also discovered that @BoxKing lives right down the street in my neighborhood. Shout out to him for all the excellent advice and whatnot on the purchase process. Excited to see his GT4 when it shows up and looking forward to cruises with him and any other members on here in the Philadelphia area! Suppose it's time I head on over to the waiting room...

Meant to do this sooner, but finally getting around to posting photos from the PEC Atlanta delivery and the journey home...
Picked up the car on Thursday, May 4th and headed home to Philadelphia via the most fun and scenic roads we could find. Cannot speak highly enough about the PEC experience... Truly topnotch!
From Atlanta we headed to Chattanooga, TN to visit some friends for a couple days and then over to Asheville, NC via Tail of the Dragon. After spending a couple nights there, we headed up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Charlottesville, VA for a night. Then we did Skyline Drive to Washington, DC for another couple of nights to see friends and for some work. Last stop was to visit my dad in Annapolis and then drove over the Bay Bridge and up the Eastern Shore of Maryland back home.
One of the highlights was spotting an Aventurine Green Boxster GTS 4.0 on Skyline Drive. We were headed opposed directions but happened to pull into the same overlook. Had a nice chat with the owner Bob from North Dakota and snapped some photos.
As soon as I got home, I peeled off the track wrap and had a detail session with Boxking and his GT4. A great ending to what was my most memorable and fun road trip to date!

Congrats! That'll be a beautiful car for sure! One last item I would add is 'Manual Gear Lever in Aluminum' which is a free option on GTS 4.0 models. Bought it from Suncoast and completes the aluminum interior look more.
BTW this is almost exact built I've done 100 times thinking 'if I was to order again I'd probably go with' but mine would be Agate Grey instead on the exterior and possibly the 5 spoke Carrera Sport wheels in black.

@NieFolgen As an actual old guy, I'll chip in $0.03 (ADM-adjusted) of non-solicited commentary:
- I picked up my CGTS 2 weeks ago. I went with white chrono face and left the main instruments in black. I'm very pleased with the combination. Actually makes me look at the chrono--and makes it seem like a special piece. Be aware, you will see a reflection of the chrono in your windshield at night--I don't mind it but some do. Personally, the white dials would have been too much for me--and I have a full chalk / black interior.
- Consider adding the seat centers in deviated leather. In this case, black seats centers would be a great compliment to the black shift lever and boot--and I think they would add additional richness to the espresso. (Only a $560 option.)

Nice build!
Do check whether you want the white sport chrono, I have it (along with white gauges) and in certain sunny situations it reflects a lot....
It does bother some, I still like the look!
Cheers!!

Very Nice. Does it come with "Entry & Drive"? Porsche keeps moving this option around their different packages.
Yet it's a very useful feature that us "Old Men" really like.
Edit: Yes, I see it now in the configurator! Excellent!
