Prices are pretty wonky still but I do see it changing. Some manufacturers really jacked up MSRP, while others haven't. Some manufacturer dealers really play games while other's don't. I think there are less games with the luxury brands because they're generally selling to people above average intelligence and people who make wiser decisions and are purchasing out of want not need. I have a friend who goes though a million vehicles and put deposits down on multiple small suvs at once and was just going to buy what showed up first, crv, rav4, and something else (i forget). They all played games trying to extract more money when it arrived thinking he'd be forced to buy it as most people aren't flexible with car situations. He ended up buying none of them and bought a temp car and onto the next batch of orders to see if dealers will screw with him on delivery.
I decided to just wait rather then replace my wife's car. I ended up buying a hatchback 130i as a beater for winter which so far I'm really enjoying and gave my wife my car to drive. Pretty sure by the end of this year it'll make sense to buy new again. Even if I didn't buy that 1 series I could just drive my truck, and in summer I'll probably switch between my truck, my gt4 and my rx7, although I started to look at 997's as it looks like I can get one of those for 40g and I might DD one of those for part of next year since I always wanted one and then trade it in on something new. People looking at base model corollas generally don't have that kind of flexibility.

They can ask whatever they want. Those cars are not worth that and many dealers are coming down on the price or offering good customers for MSRP now.
I have been offered 4 G63 for MSRP in the last 4 months now. Much different market for G than it was just 8 months ago.

So much for ADM's retreating a bit. You just are not seeing that kind of action on Lamborghini's. Would an Urus have an adm? I don't think so but I could be wrong. Pretty sure you could order one anyway you want with no adm and get it in 12-18 months.
I was just down in South Florida and I saw loads and loads of G-Wagons. I saw one Urus. Many Huracans. I saw one RR Cullinan.![Confused](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)

Sorry man. But I don’t agree with you here, Toyota have produced some decent cars of late. Notably the GR Yaris. They’ve also turned started a movement to turn away from the EV path - which as the biggest car maker in the world is pretty significant and potentially impactful. Still, best hot hatch on the market IMO is the 7.5 Golf R.
A GR Corolla is not your typical Toyota. Heck, it's not even your typical hot hatch.
And there is nothing, literally nothing, that Audi, BMW or [insert any European car marque] makes currently at any price point that even comes close to GR Corolla.
I just wish Toyota made the Yaris for the North America market. But alas, at least we have the GR Corolla.

I paid about 5% UNDER msrp for my 2021 GT4 in Jan 2021. And thank goodness cause I’ve dumped $20k plus in fixing the darn thing… it’s now pretty good, but at anything over it’s an even worse bang for buck.

Sorry to go off topic, but what was wrong with it pls? Was it second hand? Struggling to understand what it’s cost you so much, surely that’s what warranty is for?

The ADM is a pretty touchy thing and different for everyone. For me, it's my first Porsche, a dream car, one of the greatest drivers cars every produced by the majority of knowledgeable reviewers, and I wanted to spec new.
Unless something crazy life-wise happens, it will be a forever car that I hand off to my son.
I will have to work 6-7-ish extra days for the ADM. So, I'm not really getting robbed, I'm just pimping myself out for a week!
