I'm running a slightly more aggressive -3.0 F and -3.5 R with Manthey F strut tops and rear toe links but want to run stickier Trofeo R or Hoosiers when my new wheels arrive later this month. With the new set up on the OEM Cup 2s got a best of 2:24.65 at Bathurst last week (and I think very good top speed of 276 kph on Conrod). Lots of 25's and negligible tyre wear with over 300 kms on the day. These cars very quick things.

How's the PPF holding up? I'm considering "track" vs whole car.

*Full front includes the front bumper, the entire hood, and both full fenders. The track pack adds on the A-pillars, the rocker panels, and side scoops. Full vehicle is exactly as the name implies, and will add both doors, the roof, quarter panels, rear bumper, spoiler, and hatch. "

I have windshield "tear offs" too - protects a lot.

Besides making sure they use the thickest PPF I would add the roof and the rear bumper...at least the sides of the rear bumper.
My car is PTS so had no option but to cover the whole thing and on those fender cutouts have double layer.

Someone asked about the manthey pads. Here is a photo of the box they put my old pads in when I did the manthey brake upgrade kit.

Hey mate, how do you order the Manthey F strut tops and rear toe links? These won't affect the warranty side of things since Manthey is Porsche approved aye?

My local Porsche dealer in AU got them in. No impact to warranty.

I think it's time to re-ignite the tyre pressure argument. Micha Charoudin has just done a video with a GT4 RS at Manthey Racing and they go through the alignment specs at the workshop for the MR setup. But the tidbit that sticks with me is that Manthey recommend 1.9/2.0 bar pressures hot.

He mentions it at 6:50 in this video:

From what I can tell that car is on regular Cup 2's but there are other threads where people have argued vehemently that the nameplate pressures (2.0/2.3) are too low. But according to the true experts, they are too high.

I have played around with Cup 2 hot pressure on my 4RS and found 32psi front and rear best for me. I am running a stiff rear and medium front sway bar. Seems MR runs medium front and rear but adjusts aero to remove the understeer instead.

Have you tried soft up front and stiff in the rear? That along with the stiffer Swift springs helped to eliminate the under steer in both my GT4s.

I have found the way I did it has removed understeer for me. MR obviously chose to do it with aero instead of sway bars.
