GT4RS Mark Ups

I am Porsche junky like the rest of us, so I read Porsche news twitter feeds etc. 2026 is the year everyone at Porsche gives for the last production of 4.0 L 6-cylinder i assumed it was at year end but maybe it was 12/31/2025 the engine would be de commissioned. Euro 7 emissions legislation looks to been kicked out a year. Why? to make more gt4rs Ha this is time stamped Aug 31 2022, so i assume its still fluid with date. It looks like a legit source
"As a result, the proposal has been postponed by a year, thus putting the 2025 implementation date at risk".

After 2026 all GT engines will be some type of hybrids. The Spyder RS is happenings you think they will stop GT4rs production when they roll Spyder RS out for MY 24?
The money been spent; this(gt4rs and Spyder RS) will be the last ICE Car mid-engine car Porsche makes. Think Ford GT, they extended the run by 2 years with 35% more production so far they are still making them. Because their was demand and it increased their ROI. Every 1k gt4rs sold equals ~180M in revenue without new development cost to recoup why not crank it until the 2026 deadline or until they meet demand? Everything is in place to keep production running. Maybe 2 year run next to the all electric mid engine lineup but for sure 1 year concurrent production. Porsche will be public traded by year end unless the markets melts down, profits count and its free money and profits to keep making GT4RS until the engine has a hard European stop in 2026. Volkswagen, did the heavy lifting now Porsche will be solely responsible for their net income. No one thought they would make the Cayman better than a 911 but they did no one thinks they will make the GT4rs car for 3 MY or 4 but they will! 100% MY 24, 80%MY 25, 50% model 26(there may not be demand)

AP is a marking guy. Believe his predictions on volume at your peril.
EVs are coming and will take over production line space. Look at the Taycan.
If they make 4500 4RSs, that will exceed current predictions. The war is real and Porsche is losing production volume.
But whatever. Dream for unit #6999 at MSRP if that makes you happy.

I was offered a dealers first allocation for GT4RS from the dealer I bought my 981 GT4(they charge me 10K ADM for my dream build allocation in 2016), they wanted 125K ADM I wanted to say FU, go to hell. I replied no thanks. In the end 2019 and early 2020 supply of GT cars was high and prices were going down until the $6T of covid stimulus was unleased in our country. This ADM madness will pass. The Fed is putting the brakes on the liquidity overdrive and is going in reverse to fight inflation. In 2005 I watched a Carrera GT sit at Fred Lavery Porsche in Michigan for over year at msrp, it might of sold for less than MSRP new, in spring of 2006 I bought my first brand new Porsche from Fred Lavery for 15% below MSRP, should of bought the GT, In fall of 2008, 2008 Aston martins with less than 1k miles were being offered at 50% below MSRP. I understand the supply chain issues but in 2023 if people get the option to buy the SPY for $250 or buy 2year UST that yields 5.25%; dealers will not be charging ADMs. It all ebbs flow, the market cycles and the ADM days will be gone until the next upcycle. The ADM madness is coming to an end!!! in my not so humble opinion.

Yeah, i went to dealership in michigan to get 2006 911C4S service and put 1k deposit down to get in line for 992.2 c2s. I love the heritage interior option. the car will be at MSRP. I was so excited about getting in line for new car I join Rennlist. I've been a reader for decade but just became a poster. But yes i am bearish on the stock market i expect a giant correction, we will retest the covid lows.. I was super mad at Porsche of Princeton for asking me for 125K adm on the GT4rs since i was in line from the day the car was speculated to be made. My above post was to state value will return to the market, dont pay crazy ADM.
in Oct 15 2022 if all is well I will celebrate 30 years of recovery. Buying a new Porsche is about celebrating milestones or achieving goals for me. I can part with the money anytime but it's not as rewarding as earning it. The 981 GT4 is my favorite car, The car lives in Utah and we have some of the best MT roads anywhere. no traffic just open range livestock and game to worry about. yeap the daily triple on the best roads for GT driving and great group of guys to drive with. The guy driving the 996 has as much joy as the guys driving GT4 or gt3 or gt2 rs. Old Porsches are great, you don't need to pay crazy ADMs for a new one.
