Looks like the Federal Credit Union still has 3.74 for 60 months. Pretty good in today's market. That's who I hope to go with unless some other CU comes in better.

Piggybacking my own reply, has anyone ever used an aggregator service and been happy with it? It looks like Autopay can get rates as low as 2.99%, although they don't give any more information than that. Going through the pre-qualification process should shed more light, but before I do I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

I’m just about to shop the rate since my car should get on the vessel. Would you mind to share the company is offering 2.99% rate now?

It's just https://www.autopay.com/purchase/. I haven't gone through the pre-qualification process yet (should just be a soft credit pull), but Senate Federal Credit Union is still 3.74% for 60 months, so the difference isn't huge if Autopay's rate turns out to not be great.

I checked with them and they won't even let you put more than 30k down and the rate they came back with was in the 7% range. Seems very gimmicky and misleading. Stick with USSFCU.

Ugh, yeah that's junk. USSFCU it is then. I just hope their rates don't rise anymore before June.

Would you mind to share the contact from USSFCU you have been working with?

I haven't started the process yet, those are just the rates on their website. It seems you have to jump through some small hoops to get those rates, but nothing too egregious. Even without the discounts offered by those hoops, from what I've seen those rates seem to be about 1% lower than everywhere else.

If you meet the qualifications for membership Navy Federal Credit Union starts at 4.54

beware. I applied for membership and they never got back to me. Phone calls useless. Very flaky.
Ended up elsewhere. Their rates jumped too.

Based on environment and market from what others have told me I think getting sub 6% is very difficult. Last months rates are certainly not this months and so on.

Yeah I saw their rates jumped, which sucks since I'm at the point of applying. They're still much lower than others though, I'll go through the process and report my findings. Either way, thanks for your insight.

Thanks, 5.25% for new isn't bad, and they're right in my backyard too. I'll definitely check them out as well.
