Process took about 3-4 days and included verifying income/identity, collecting deal sheet from dealer, and ended with payment being sent overnight to the dealer. Pretty painless process if you ask me. The only thing that kinda sucked was the dealer didn’t want to handle any of the titling and registration because I didn’t use their finance department. American1CU seemed to be on top of it!

Big thanks to all that recommended American 1 Credit Union.

The process (credit form, copy of your license, and some recent pay stubs) post submitting the required paperwork, only took 1 hour to get approved.
Great rate for an 84 month loan.

Highly recommend anyone who’s looking for a loan to reach out to Daisy/William.

Would you mind sharing the rate? I’m debating a call to them, but currently have 4.75% for 72 months at my credit union and just not sure that can be beat.

Also, for anybody seeing this who has recently done a 72 or 84 month, is the 4.99% mentioned above the best they’re offering?

thanks in advance

America1CU is at 4.99% right now. If you can get 4.75% then i recommend sticking with your CU

I was quote by them at 4.99% for 72 and 5.49% for 84 .
I was able to get local 4.5% for 72 months . I think you 4.75 % is pretty good

thanks for the speedy response, I’ll stick with what I have then!

now to wonder when the dealer will call for me to pay for it… doing European delivery in April and have no clue when I actually pay for the car!

Not sure if ED changes things but generally they will contact you a few weeks out from delivery and do all the paperwork as well as financing. I've heard that some CU are willing to let people essentially start paying off the loan early before they even get the car and then just apply that loan to the car when it gets here, but if your delivery is in April, unless you can get it locked for 3 months, the interest rate might change. America1CU seems to be least affected by rate changes compared to a lot of CU and banks I've talked to.

I was in the 5’s for 84months.
Loan for 85K

Its taking my dealership over two days to adjust the Retail Sales Agreement, which is the only thing I need to provide to A1CU to get my check out the door… this is sort of pissing me off, bc I’d like these funds by Friday - GT4 might be ready for me to pickup this Saturday.

thats annoying, if you are close enough go to the dealer and request it. Don't leave until it's done!

They want you to finance through them and dragging their feet is an easy way to get an understandably excited owner to close faster using their MUCH higher rates. If they'll match rates go for it, but we know they won't.

Armco is 3.45 for 72 months. Unsure if they still offer 84 months

Closed with Jolynn Rankin at American1cu about two weeks ago. 3.49% / 72. They honored a December rate, which technically expired Jan 14. Now same term rates are 5.99%. Wonderful experience, and recommend asking for the 3.49% if you’ve been in touch with them since last year.

Their rates are insane! I'm not in the market at the moment but I'll definitely use them as a benchmark in the future.

I got all excited until I saw that they have a pretty limited list of "eligible employers" - meaning you gotta work for one of those to be able to join.

Waiting on the VIN from my dealer for my Macan GTS so I can start this fun process of shopping for a loan in this **** market....

FYI you can make a donation to their BC3 Alumni and gain membership that way

Oh thanks for that. Might be worth the $500.
