This is an open and shut case? This is my 5th delay. I were originally supposed to have my car in May.

I thought both yellows would look different but in these photos it looks like you can’t tell the difference.

Correct, the difference is not as much inside as it is outside. All of the stitching is Speed and everything else is Racing.

Thanks Bob - looks really good. @Bob Z.

Don't suppose you have more close ups of the steering wheel do you with the stitching against the racing yellow top marker ? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

No, but I could take one for you; however, the custom crest on the airbag is also Racing Yellow.

@Bob Z. If you could that would be great. The crest is fine - at least i get an idea of the Stitching against the yellow marker.

Its a shame when you opt for the speed yellow stitching they don't also make the door pulls the same colour.

Will do. My door pulls were Black but I had new ones made from leather with Yellow stitching - I will take a pic of those when I take one of the wheel.

I do not think it could be spec'd either, possibly via CXX but not a selectable option. I had a piece of Racing Yellow vinyl made and used a piece of it for the steering wheel marker and a few decals:

Yeah, it is really not that noticeable, and certainly not like the pic of the Speed & Racing cars I posted!

Could probably find an aftermarket solution, but tbh I don’t think I like the speed yellow stitching. Looks too orange-y to me. Last thing I want to do is start pulling bits of interior off for something that should’ve been done in the factory.

Interestingly, (racing) yellow stitch hasn’t been removed from the US configurator. I wonder if this is a temporary thing? Perhaps it’s worth digging my heels in and insisting on racing yellow stitching?

Tbh, by the time racing yellow stitching is back PCCBs will be unavailable again. Really starting to lose interest in this whole process. Genuinely considering cancelling my order.

Was this an expensive job? I’ve been searching for someone in the UK that can do it!
