So, after agreeing on a price and pickup with the buyer, I was regretting my decision to sell. Then the buyer ghosted me. To be fair, he was a crypto trader and the deal was going to be in crypto for tax reasons. Then crypto went on a rally and he wanted to ride it out and then stopped communicating. So, I'm still here with my Spyder and have reworked my finances that I can buy both properties and keep the Spyder--at least for now.
i had a similar situation last weekend. Came across a Miami Blue Spyder that was a bit opposite of what I was looking for: blue, manual, and buckets while I was looking for white, PDK, and 18-way. Decided to go for it anyway.
Contacted buyer right away and discussed next steps. Over the next day, I had questions on aftermarket exhaust, smog, upcoming service that he mentioned, PPI, and carfax. After I asked about carfax, didn’t hear until next day that he changed his mind and wanted to keep the car as it’s too much work selling it privately. Not sure what happened but oh well.

I was out of the country for a long while and just recently got back; as soon as I opened the garage door I knew I did not want to part with my Spyder. Yeah, my heart still desires a 991.2 GT3, but the Spyder looks so good and is more than enough for me 99% of the time in terms of performance that it makes very little sense.
