FYI MMR wholesale is 210k on a 4RS right now and that’s for a middle spec so your pricing guidance is way off on private party and what a dealer will offer him. Friend just traded in his Arctic Gray 4RS with no mag wheels for 210k.

i’m sure a lot of it was speculation on prices keep going up and up as Porsche will stop making NA cars. Market seemed to align to that until it stopped. Most cars are not investment. Good for flippers to learn, just like with Rolex watches.

I know of a green one with buckets, slightly more miles, no pccbs that is open to selling at 185k but any less than that he'd rather just put it on BaT and take his chances there.

Sticker when you factor in BAT fees. Still not a great result for what is supposed to be a highly desirable car. PTS seems to bring the premium more than 000 does.
That’s a crazy amount of money for a 718 anything, just because it has some pretty options. Yes I know what the 000 BS is. Sucker born every minute etc.

if it was white and priced reasonably, I’d take it off your hands. In the market for a white one with black interior, PDK, CarPlay, Bose, 2-zone climate, and 18-way seats.

Yes, but that’s not what the owner saw and significantly less than he paid for it last year.
I have solved for this problem. Have a mountain home with two garages-six car capacity. Sits at base of Blue Ridge, about 7 miles to the BRP. This home has beautiful views and landscape but not mountain top vistas and not the harsh site conditions.. The home is also far better suited to handle adverse winter weather. Three Porsches in a climate controlled garage. Conveniences nearby without any hazardous road conditions. Put your house in the base camp at foot of mountains or lower elevations. Then buy a minimal cabin up top for the big views and mountain climbing when conditions permit. This will give you everything you want and life will be vastly easier as you age. Being 80 and climbing a mountain property will be not your dream.
I want to wake up to those views. Spending $100k to pave the driveway or buy a garage in town to store the car is my thinking. And we’ll be 55 when we move up there, but I certainly hear your point for longer term.
