@MaddMike I feel your pain. We’re looking to retire in western NC in late 2026, and decent access to a mountain home is number two on my list of must haves. Which doesn’t work at all with number one, which is year round long range mountain views. I’ve already accepted that the Spyder might have to be stored someplace nearby, but those facilities are hard to find.

9 SRS on the Canadian Porsche Finder now. 6 flippers and 3 new on the dealer lots. By contrast 11 4RS, 2 new 9 used.

I actually think $125k is at market. Plus 7.5% = $134k. For me, it's probably another $3k shipping and then PPF, oh and OAM+Cargraphic. So we're at like $147k before tax. ouch.

porsche plano had a similar car with PDK that was lowered from $125K to $122K asking it sat there for about 6 weeks. Both were CPO cars. All this is to say I don’t understand BaT pricing when you can buy CPO cars from dealers at lower prices.

Agreed, CPO for same money is better than BaT.
I like the base seats and would order headlight-delete if I could! (LOL)
I'll keep looking. I may also start considering 981 Spyders since I fell in love with my 981 BGTS. Seems like $95k buys a REALLY nice 981 Spy, some are even CPO.

I'm a manual guy, so PDK is not an issue for me. I do get it about the lines.
Has anyone driven both cars that wants to share their insights?
In comparing my new-to-me 981 Boxster GTS vs my `22 CGTS, I now find the softer sprung 981 more enjoyable. And it did INCREDIBLY well in the Tail of the Dragon Smokey Mountains.

So, house sellers were being sketchy and refusing to release the findings of a pre-inspection, listed the house as a four bedroom when it was legally a three due to septic, and overpriced based on comps in the area. So, that house and its gravel hill are no longer in the running.
