Here's my "updated" Dolomite Silver from my 19 January post with its new wrap. I like the Dolomite but all the cars here in Northern VA are silver so I needed something a little different. 3M Satin Flip Psychedelic wrap. Pretty cool in that it's matte grey on a cloudy day, but pops like this when the sun comes out, and the colors change as the angle of the light changes. Makes me happy. As a member of my car club stated: "If you don't look back at your car as you're walking away from it, you bought the wrong car."

Sorry, I thought I could embed a viewable video, but I couldn't figure out how. Nonetheless, here's a video, as requested. The car is "rainbow" in the sun, but turns to matte grey in the shade

Reason: mistake
I look at dolomite kind of like a cool silver where GT is a warmer silver. I owned a Sterling Blue C7 which I loved but they didn’t sell as well. Most corvette forum posters thought it was too feminine. But I thought it looked awesome and similar to dolomite, it somewhat changed colors depending on the light.

For sure, Dolomite is pure silver and GT is a smoky, black-tinged silver. I've been a GT Silver zealot for ever; one of my favorite Porsche colors. Until I put my GT Silver GT4 right next to my Dolomite Taycan 4S. Not even close. The Dolomite just popped and the GT looked dull by comparison. Still love GT Silver, but I find Dolomite to be a much sportier color.
By the way, I was parked right next to a C7 Vette in that color about a week ago at my golf club and it was way more blue than my Dolomite. Perfect example of how Dolomite is truly pure silver. I should have snapped a pic. If I ever see that car there again, I'll be sure to take one.

Yes, Sterling Blue definitely has more blue than Dolomite. But the paint has similarities in how it looks in different lighting. In the evening it could appear more pewter colored.
