I am also waiting on my Dolomite Silver build! It's going down the production line right now with a projected 3/11 dealership arrival. Great choice in color combination!
Very nice build! I knew there were others with Dolomite builds out there now somewhere. Mine is mid April so you will get to show yours off here first. :-)
DS is a bit too bright for me... even my GT Silver is on the light side. If the GT4 came in a charcoalish color I woulda gone there. Still staying in silver grey is but just darker.
There really is little to no blue in Dolomite. It’s almost pure silver. If you’re wanting blue, you might be disappointed.
I think others have mentioned many times re: coolness and blue within Dolomite. I agree that at times definitely a pure, metal like silver. But I have spent much time with the samples in person and blue undertones are definitely present.

When you see it on the car, the only time you’ll see any blue at all is in bright sun with a blue sky, and even then it’s really just the brightness of the silver tricking your eye. If you put a clean light on the paint and study it close, you’ll see no blue in the mix. IMO, it’s just that pure silvers like Dolomite are very rare in cars these days because of their coldness, and people aren’t used to seeing it.
When my Taycan was been coated, we put a paint light on it in my garage and it was pure silver. Again, not what I expected.

I agree with you nicholascanada. I definitely see blues in Dolomite. Having seen Dolomite in-person on Macans, there is absolutely blue in Dolomite Silver. Color perception is subjective-ish of course.
The video in post five of this thread captures Dolomite perfectly.
The pure silver of Dolomite, I agree. Which is going to be more prevalent with indoor lighting. But get Dolomite outside in certain lighting and there is blue in it.
