The Official Dolomite Silver Colour Thread
Might be a short thread Don’t see many Dolomites out there, but I think it is a wonderful silver-blue chameleon colour. I know there a couple people I think with Dolomite builds o/s as well. Waiting for my April build, but until then please post if you have a DS.

Not a 718, but a nice pic of Dolomite. My GT4 is GT Silver, which is one of my favorite Porsche colors. I was surprised to find out that, side by side, I prefer Dolomite. Pops more than GT, but with less blue than Rhodium. A really pure silver, but with some depth.

It has a more clinical feel to me than GT Silver, which I like in certain situations. Can’t go wrong with either IMO.

I agree. I have loved GT Silver forever and was dead set on it for my build. Fell upon Dolomite by chance and prefer it now because I like the different tones it can give off.

I always felt that D/S was a smooth raw metal look with very fine metallics that allow it to reflect light in a unique way. I just do not feel any other silver in the Porsche palate quite captures its slick metal appearance.

I also think Dolomite has some Azzurro Thetys metallic in it at times with its blue undertone, which is not a bad thing IMHO.

Here is my contribution. It's kind of a difficult color to emulate too.
