GT4 RS Allocation Thread

I have a big decision to make. Got a call from my SA yesterday. Solid guy, got his management to sell me my 718 GT4 at MSRP in 2020. That's my only history with the dealer. He offered me a November delivery allocation as long as I trade my GT4 plus an ADM. ADM is not close to $100K as I told him there would be no way I'd go for that last time we spoke a few months ago.. I'm more practical than ideological, so I'm OK with ADM as a concept, just not as a my own personal practice. However, the GT4RS is an amazing car that is turning into an icon before our eyes and will one day be pretty valuable.. I'd keep the RS for a long time.. So my question to those that have secured allocations, do you think the ADM will evaporate once more cars come on line and are delivered? Or does it just keep getting bigger? Or does it dip for a bit and then go up when the next one (983?) comes online? Or should I not care and do it just because I can? How much ADM is too much? Inquiring minds want to know.

Typical timeframe from factory build slot to US dealer delivery? I know there are a ton of variables, just looking for a general idea...
Same question for ED... Would the ED typically occur immediately after build? Or is there usually some delay on that as well?

Earliest ED date is approx 30 days after production completion. This is depending on available slots which again is location dependent.

My GT3 touring has currently been in “production” for over 4 months, my macan same thing; it was many months behind. The timing of these vehicles right now is very difficult to determine, it’s unlike any other delays Ive encountered over years of ordering pcars.

I’d use caution right now regarding expectations on timing especially if your trading a vehicle in and don’t have another comparable vehicle to enjoy while you wait. My car completed production ahead of time, entered production (V260) on 2 of June and completed production (V300) on 9 of June, currently being transport to the port (Bremerhaven).

And it would seem a number of dealers opted to NOT offer their allocations, but build a dealer spec and are planning to hold some “charity” auction to pump up the offers, or test the markets once these GT4RS cars arrive. I’ve been told it’s looking like September-October for the non-VIPs to hit US shores.
