I have/had both. 1.2 RS is definitely more suited for the track, but not very fun on back roads. Also tracking a 200+k car with no warranty comes with it's own perils. My 1.2 RS engine needed replacement - but fortunately was still under warranty.

There are a number of SRS available right now at MSRP, a dealer offered me a choice of 3 yesterday at MSRP that Porsche north america is trying to place. One is already done, 2 are finishing up. They are not strippers
Recommend calling your dealer contact.
One is vanadium grey at 219k, vin last 4 is 0648
As fyi, you won't get any allocation for new build if you are doing a stripper. Numerous dealers just aren't accepting those bc of folks calling and offerings to do 200k builds

Thanks! That is pretty incredible that there are some builds for MSRP available. I emailed every dealer in the country as a back up plan months ago and nothing. I'm still hopeful. I spoke to the high ups at my dealer and there is no limitations on spec. My build is simpler at 181. There is an adm that will be reasonable. Just waiting for more drops. I guess it all balances out in the end.
So pcna has specced these loaded cars and is trying to send them to a dealer?
Edit- sorry to possibly derail the gt4rs allocation focus, but figured they are intertwined!

I guess different folks, different strokes. For me, 1.2 RS felt way too big for back roads. Also too much grip to enjoy at non anti-social speeds. After the initial wow factor, the most fun ride on it was when I got caught out by rain and the roads were wet.

Ya, 3 cars. Cheapest is 201k, 213k and 219k
One v300, one v260 one v250.
You won't get an allocation at 181k MSRP. They will spec them all higher than that. At only 10% in options, no dealer will do that. They make more money on certain options.
If you have line of site to a dealer willing to do it, id pursue it.
I confirmed again today, no pts availability at the moment.

my reasonable low spec is cheaper after adm compared to lots of bloated(and worse to my liking) spec @msrp
