Good luck with getting PTS so late in the model year. I am also surprised that your dealer can reserve the slot for such a long time. Normally Porsche requires a quick decision on PTS or the slot gets reallocated according to my SA. Let us know if you were able to get it. Your sales manager was correct in saying that the PTS and CXX are two different departments with different availability. When I spec'ed my MY24 GT4RS last summer with PTS, Euro Delivery and CXX, I ultimately had to give up at least 1 of the 3 to make the timeline fit (I dropped CXX).

Probably was eligible at one point and approved but cant be changed now is most likely if it is a PTS slot.

As others have said, I would be surprised if PTS is still available for MY24 cars. When my build locked a few weeks ago, it was no longer available, so I was told. Of course, YMMV.

what stock color did you end up going with? What would you have done if PTS was approved?

After almost picking Shark Blue (which I have on a 718 CGTS 4.0), I went with white. I plan to do some stripes or graphics in Shark Blue. I did not select WP, as I don't particularly like the look, although I like it better on white, so perhaps....

As for PTS, that's a hard one. This car is aggressive in nature, so it requires an aggressive color. I like Signal Orange and Signal Yellow, and I like lots of blues and greens, too. I am not sure; given the opportunity, I would have figured it out. It seems that PTS always helps a car retain value better.

I had a regular SRS slot in Europe, and when the dealer reached out about PTS SRS slot, I would have had to send the build in on the same day. It was an easy pass for me, so I didn’t inquire any more info, but they definitely wanted to move quick.

I went with white, non-Weissach, and the car is stunning, in my less-than-humble opinion! ;-) I took delivery here in Canada 4 weeks ago, and I do not regret anything about having chosen that colour. The white "shows off all the bits and pieces to effect," as my brother would say. Of course, as others would say on this forum, "to each his (or her) own." You spec what YOU want and it will be an amazing care, whatever you do.

I’m securing the slot and having them confirm once again on Monday with their PTS & CXX contact to make sure what they said about MY24 is still valid.

Looking at what others have said I’m losing hope on getting PTS & CXX for MY24 at this point, if so I’m either going to try bring their ADMs down by a substantial amount for a normal 24 slot or decide if I want to pay more and risk it for MY25 with unknown chance of PTS & CXX and also live with the emissions changes…

Great spec! White looks incredible on these cars. I went with white as well as a repeat owner!

I just spaced the same car only with black calipers and black door handles. Now just need to get Ben to secure me a build spot

Hopefully pricing gets where you want it to be sooner rather than later!

I have been rethinking my pricing and me thinks I should up my game. I can find CPO used cars for $20k over MSRP but they are bloated with bling. So effectively I would be paying $30k+ 🤦🏻‍♂️over what I would build.

I know of an allocation available for 24k over and you can build your own. PM me and I'll connect you with them.

That's a solid deal, I'd have clients for them at that number too. Anything under 30k is solid based off of what stores are offering me lately.
