That is interesting, not that I would miss it, I disable it anyway!

Are you referring to the auto stop-start button? It's hard to tell from this pic, in should be an "A" with circle in the centre buttons area.

@Jay Cordeiro Please tag me when you post the result. An actual car to check is worth an infinity of RL posts.

I decided to look at the UK vs Canada configurator and auto stop start is listed as standard equipment there but not in the Canadian configurator. Agreed with @Westcoast this would be a pleasant surprise and I would not miss it at all.

If you like to do a lot of tracking and have the space I would say sure, but if you can handle a truck & trailer I would get an SRS and dedicated track car with a cage.

It's not there and the car never turns off at traffic lights/stops.

That’s awesome…perhaps understandable as we’re paying a Gas Guzzler Tax.

I think this is country/region dependent.

I am in the U.S. I had the auto start/stop button in my 718 GT4, but it was gone in my GT4 RS. Based on some video reviews I've seen of the GT4 RS in the UK, I noticed the auto start/stop button was there below the FAL button.

My assumption is that it was no longer necessary for some regions, and still required for others. I'd further guess that the same likely applies for the Spyder RS.

Not crazy at all. As you know I have a 4RS and a Boxster Spyder along with a few other cars. The SRS would fit in nicely ☺️

Personally I would prefer a GT3 RS, haven’t been able to secure an allocation 🤷‍♂️

Interesting find... I wonder if this applies to US bound vehicles also. Not a fan of Start-Stop for sure

Tracking an open top car, especially a fast and expensive one, is a no-go for me. I can only use an SRS as weekend fun road car.

But I know that you're crazy. You and I are enablers of each other!

I use the Boxster Spyder as a weekend fun car and occasionally drive it to work. It will never see the track 😝 That’s one of the reasons why I opted for the lower HP car.

As such it sounds like our use case is similar.

PS: You have nine cars compared to my four. Who is enabling who 😝

10 actually (yes, hard to keep track) ...

So, fair point. I'm worse. But I say again, I'm not a collector, not really even a 'car guy'. More just someone who accumulated too many cars over time.

So are you telling me that it's ok for me to get a SRS if I'm willing to sell some car(s)?

The US cars are not going to have auto stop/start.
