I also received a production photo. Has anyone received more than one production photo?
Seems to be a little hit-or-miss. The first time, I got four photos that I *think* were all of my car. This time, I received four again, but two of them were not my car (different color).

Where did you see the photos? Looks like I only have one.
Track Your Dream just updated for me that production did start TODAY 9/7 (originally scheduled for 9/2). Woohoo!!
This is reassuring, and glad you finally got some movement lol. My SA however is less reassuring, he's telling me that he doesn't have an update on his end either. It's a bit awkward, as I've never asked for a PVMS screenshot before and I did yesterday, and he didn't send me one... he's always been fantastic and I'm hesitant to press him for it but I really want more visibility. He did suggest there are production shifts that have taken their toll on the backend systems, and from context clues it appears TYD visibility for customers is the least of their concerns.
Oh well. It won't make the car get here faster, in any case. I'll sit on it for a bit. My CP8.0 date isn't until the 16th so hopefully I'll just be surprised here in a couple days.
Also there's a way to "hack" the HTML through your browser to get pictures, if they exist (a right click and a couple F5s will do the trick, no PHDs required). TYD doesn't always render them by default, but apparently they may still exist and are hosted but you just have to pull them through the code yourself. There's a tutorial on how to do it out there on this board somewhere; if anyone has easier access to link to it that would be great, otherwise I'm sure I'll have to look at it again (I'm not an "HTML guy", or a developer for that matter) and I'll update this thread if/when I do... this is all to say it's a search away and I'm too lazy to do it myself rn.
This obviously implies that the car has actually completed production. I'm not sure at what point the pictures are actually made available but it may be safe to assume that if you've been notified CP8.0 has been completed then it would be worth going in and looking for the pictures if they're not presented to you.
edit to add: It is actually quite disappointing that Porsche has this "Track your Dream" feature but that it's so inconsistent and frustrating. It really would be fairly trivial to link these processes better and provide more accurate, in-depth visibility by developing automation playbooks from any variety of commercially available tools out there. My field is cyber and there are a billion use cases for these types of tools that are infinitely more complex than linking a couple APIs together, some data wrangling, and hosting a few pictures, which is pretty much all it would take. I ask myself sometimes, "do they really suck this bad at software development?", but then recall the "Roads" app that has ruined its share of what would been nice drives and answer my own question...
edit x2: In fact, if someone could just happen to put me in touch with anyone at Porsche that touches this "feature", I can build them a proof-of-concept myself in no more than a couple weeks (conservatively) that will yield a more consistent, repeatable process.

Update- my TYD finally ticked over to "start production" and status listed as "in production", listing 9/2 as the estimated date just like TXRubicon... which probably means production just started today.

Although maybe not- looking at your PVMS screenshot, my cp8.0 isn't until the 16th. Probably because of all the silly gloss bits I added, dashcam, emblem on center console, etc...
If so it probably means your car would be sitting at port for a week and I wouldn't put that evil on anyone that's waited near as long as I have lol.

You have to log onto the Track Your Dream mobile app. Previously, I had four photos, all of a Gentian GT4 (which is what I ordered). This time around, after the first GT4 was destroyed, I have two Gentian photos, one Python and one GT Silver.
