My TYD now shows "Order created- Delivery date pending" with no dates at all despite having shown in previous weeks build dates in June/July with delivery in August. Something is up.
So what the heck do we make of the plant shutdown rumor? Nothing? Arg I mean yay! but sheesh…

I went and talked to my SA last Friday and he said they had heard “nothing official” on a plant shutdown. Mine is scheduled to go to production on 3/25 as well so I’m right there with you. 🤣
Can someone direct me to a how-to post on TYD? I have a commission number for an April build. Is it too early to be in the system? The SA said that I would receive emails from Porsche in a few days. Is the necessary info in those emails? Thanks.

Can't make this **** up: after my wife's Macan went down with the Felicity Ace, I was counting my blessings that even though it got to Emden around the same time, my GT4 was not also loaded on that ship. Instead, it sat in Emden for a month before finally hitching a ride on the SFL Composer. Composer got into port in Rhode Island back on the 14th, so was expecting my car any day. Just spoke to my SA: the SFL Composer experienced rough seas during the journey and a number of the cars were damaged. Currently, they don't know which ones, are going through all of them with a fine-tooth comb. So if you were also on the Composer, might want to reach out to your SA.

The Universe is conspiring against us. First we're too poor to buy a Porsche. Then we have the money, but corona hits and screws up supply chain and you can't get an allocation. Then cargo ships loaded with cars go to the bottom of the ocean. Then Russia invades it's neighbor. What's next, giant asteroid or nuclear war? Alien invasion?
