Btw - spoke to my SA and they said they have not heard anything on MY23 production - but said that given the supply chain issues some MY22 electric vehicles may be pushed back - example electric Macan which was pushed back to MY23 and no word for MY23 at the moment. So all that to they have no idea and have not received any info on MY23 models…so wait and see and hope…

I don't say this implying my car's delivery schedule is even remotely relevant compared to what is going on over there, but this being a car forum and not a general commentary forum...

 

How do you get the clear side markers? Is that something you can get through the dealer and have them do as part of the PDI process? Or do most people just order them from somewhere and do on their own? I think I will want them for my shark blue GT4, which should be arriving in a few weeks.

 

The dealer stocks these and can do the swap for you. If you ask, they may even comp it although those days may be on pause for a while.

 

Lovely is this CWM or standard white ?

 

It’s standard white. I was shooting for as white as possible and CWM wasn’t white enough.

 

I ordered Carrara white for my 2021 Targa 4 and the metal flakes are so ridiculously small to be non-existent. A huge waste of $950 — I just ordered a 2022 Cayenne and I ordered the free basic white instead of the metallic Carrara white from my experience with the Targa.

unless your in bright daylight and purposely look at an angle toward the fender you cannot even see the metallic flakes.

my Mercedes and my Lexus are metallic white and the metallic flakes are much much larger and worth spending extra money as an option.

No, just PPF. Wonder if it may be the lighting at the dealership. It was cloudy and snowing, so it may have picked it up in the paint reflection.
