That's not an accurate representation of SB. Suggest you go and have a look at it at a VW dealer if you can. Not saying SB isn't a great colour, but if you are expecting it to look that dark then you may be in for a surprise.

Yes, that’s the color I’m picking up from the videos of cornflower, too. It’s exactly the bright color I want, and it’s going to be awesome on the B GTS.
Thank you for posting those photos and info. That’s just what I wanted to see. Now I’ll have to decide whether to pony up the extra bucks to retrofit them once they become available. (Maybe a pricey Christmas gift to myself?)
I wonder if they’ll make the door pulls available in Shark Blue too? Any intel on that? Right now I’m expecting mine to be gray.
The MY22 update documentation that the retailers have makes no mention of blue door pulls. When you say you are expecting grey door pulls do you not mean black? Put another way, your door pulls will be black as you are opting for the full black interior without deviating stitching to then allow the addition of Speed `Blue. The GT4/Spyder only offer door pulls matching the stitching if you select Yellow, Red or Silver.
It sounds like our cars will be twins. Still torn on Speed Blue stitching or Orange. Currently have the Platinum wheels selected but wondering if Silver will make it pop more. Thankfully I have until Sept to change my mind

Too my eye the 718 lines/shadows become a bit hidden in SB too. Its a great colour, but for me this car is likely a long term proposition given the influx of EV's, hence a switched to boring, but classic silver. My current F80 M3 is Silverstone too, so double as boring
I feel the same was about Shark. I think its a great color, just too flat on the car. It kinda has negative flop. The lines and creases in the body seem to disappear into the color.
Thankfully the Spyder UK group on FB allowed me to join their group and score these two more pictures from the same source above. Hopefully the young lady who owns the car will take some more pictures in differing light. But this gives us a little more idea into the color on the Spyder form. Daddy likes!!!

If not for the orange plates I think this looks pretty sweet!
Shark Blue really does look fantastic on the Spyder - would have likely gone that route if I had a MY22 build. Looks much better than Miami Blue does on the 718 body, both Spyder and GT4.
I like and ordered Shark Blue but I would have gone with Carmine Red again if it hadn’t been in the $13k range. A bit of a gamble on Shark Blue as an unknown but I’m pretty sure it will be fine.
