First time driving Nola in the dry, so just learning the line. Sloppy driving, but a decent lap time, 1:53. Was running 245/295 Goodyear Supercar 3, and normally use 265/305 Falken 660s. Car was pushing, so I was messing around, trying to get it to rotate.
I loved the SC3's on my SS 1LE, but I am having a hard time finding a fault with the stock Cup 2's. I don't track, but I have found the Cup 2's to work great on the street and with -2.5 F and -2 rear camber, tread wear is pretty even on all 4 corners.
I have 5,800 miles on the Cup 2's now and will probably see the wear bars on the rears at about 8K miles based on current wear patterns. Fronts still have plenty on them and no feathering at all.
I typically see about 1.3 to 1.4 lateral G's on my local on/off ramps, depending on the ramp. I am not sure that moving to the SC3's would provide much difference, other than maybe a sharper turn-in due to the stiffer sidewall.

I would say the cup 2 and supercar 3 are pretty comparable. I wouldn't be surprised if the Supercar 3 isn't faster on track. I would also say the supercar 3 seems to be more consistent over the life of the tire.
I've got 15,000 miles on the front cup 2s and just had to replace the rears. That included 2 track days at Sebring.. i was pretty surprised to get that much life out of them.
Bottom line, I would be perfectly happy with either tire. Probably come down to availability and price.

Sounds about right from what I have heard. I had lots of experience with the SC3's, but have never had them back to back with the Cup 2's.
I was all set to replace the Cup 2's with the SC3 once they wear out, but I am having a hard time justifying the change as I have not found a fault with the Cup 2's yet.
Availability will definitely be a factor if the shortages continue, so it is nice to know there are 2 options that are very close in performance. I won't touch the Dunlops just on principal alone as they are so much more expensive.
Did some 'driver mods' over winter. This was 4 (!!) seconds better than my previous best, much more in the car than I originally thought. Theoretical best lap from AIM data for the weekend was 2:05.7, so still need to put down the optimal lap.
Side note - My friend kindly let me drive his 718 GT4 PDK for a session, car had some suspension mods on 265/295 Hoosiers. Noticeably stronger than the 981 particularly at the top of the rev range. I think that car has low 2:xx in it for sure.

@Trj Great time. I bet it was a nice weekend. I was supposed to be there, but I'm still recovering from an injury. Hope to make it to VIR later in the season.
