one thing is for sure, the configurator is a terrible representation of Oslo blue and Azzurro thetys
and surprised no one has posted a fjord green, that has the same deep feel of the Oslo blue
I also think best thread ever, at least top 3!

No PTS in 2023
I have a February allocation. I was originally told this could be PTS. Sent my build in (not PTS) along with some cxx options. Dealer told me yesterday that Porsche isn’t doing any PTS or cxx until March(?) 2024. Kind of surprising. Didn’t get the idea they were pulling my leg, but who knows. Thought folks waiting for a build might like to know.

A LOT more is going to be know in early-November...as a good grouping of sports car allocations is expected. There is a Dealer Allocation Tracker that is in this forum that has more details and worth following / reading.
Regarding your situation, do you feel the dealer has 'over-promised' on a PTS/CXX slot for you and is now trying to 'move' you into a standard build slot?

I think I’ve seen this pulling out of my local Porsche Centre. I won’t say the town just in case, but it was in Essex. Stunning car man!

I heard something about PTS going on stop order for the rest of 23 - not sure it was MY for full year.
I was just recently approved for PTS and the color locked, as far as I know, last week.
It’s scheduled to start production in March.

Barring a crazy-world event, this is not likely going to be correct. Please understand I'm not saying you are spreading false information, but IMO your Porsche dealer gave you wrong information. I actually expect your dealer has the year incorrect...and that PTS / CXX builds will start happening again in 2023 (again, just my opinion on this.)

I don't feel like they 'over-promised' because my build never hinged on it (more bummed about PDLS+ going away). I had considered Ruby Star, Signal Yellow, or Fjord Green, but had trouble rationalizing the cost over the standard colors. I would rather do some aftermarket interior customization for the same money.
...And really, the car will be unbelievable special no matter what it looks like.

Thought I’d share my experience.
I somewhat lucked into a PTS allocation, it was originally someone else’s, but they passed on it as they decided to keep hold of their 991 GT3 as they either couldn’t justify, or plain didn’t want to pay the current rate of finance. The cost of borrowing money is going up in the UK which makes “big ticket” purchases less attractive.
Anyways, my dealer called me and offered me the allocation which I jumped at. I was absolutely buzzing! Didn’t care how long it took to arrive, so long as it got here eventually - I had something to look forward to.
Then the supply chain issues hit, first with yellow stitching (which I’m not grateful for as I settled on silver contrast stitching) and then with PDLS+. At one point I wanted to cancel my order entirely and give up on the dream. Sounds dramatic, but all in all I’d been waiting for one of these for years and suddenly it “wasn’t going to be right”. After a few days I came to the realisation “it was an f’n PTS GT4” - Brand new, from the factory, especially for me.
I’d been in touch with the dealer off and on, keeping an eye on the build (MyPorsche app was useless). Last week, I got a surprise phone call out of the blue. She’s arrived! Not in the UK, but with the dealer - in that moment I felt a huge wave of excitement. I didn’t care that it’s got PDLS and not PDLS+ or yellow stitch. MY GT4 has arrived, and I’m going to make the most of it. As it happens I’m going to pick it up on my birthday! I’m not the sort of person that gets excited, but I’m genuinely losing sleep over it, it’s going to be the best birthday ever!
TLDR: Life is short, there’s loads of s**t going on in the world right now. By the time you get your GT4, it won’t matter. You’ll still love it just the same!
