I didn’t really wait for PTS just my actual allocation which was basically 1 year. When I spec’d the car originally so the dealer could place a demand order the car was going to be gentian blue which I was super happy with. Then when the actual allocation came through I asked about PTS and he said we could try but I only had 2 weeks to complete the spec. From there it went to Porsche and they approved the build and here we are 20 months later!
Your experience was very similar to mine. My allocation was just shy of a year to receive, and the car arrived 8 months later. Total 19 months but worth it IMO.

I don't even see that in the PTS colors on the configurator. Was it PTS Plus?

That would have been great but it wasn't possible through CXX
I'm changing to a PFC brake kit so didn't want to mess with the OEM calipers or painting the PFC.

I tried to paint my calipers through CXX too and was told it's some safety thing which sounds like bs that they have to be yellow, black or red. I don't see how caliper colors = safety but whatever, not a huge deal. I went with black on my PCCB too.
