Anyone have a lead on a reasonably built PDK car? All i'm finding out there are well optioned dealer cars.

this thread has gone all over the place i am new in Florida where i ordered my gt -4 with a non binding 5 grand deposit for my build. Not my rules but florida. I did not want to wait for a car and looked at all Florida Porsche dealers for cars. They are out there but not a ton of them and like others said for 120 grand get what you want. From a guy who has a lot of cars there is no comparisons yet to a GM manufactured product and a Porsche but like everything no-one can predict the future

Might be the time of the year, or the economic climate, or the uncertainty of the presidnt, but from what i can tell inventory on autotrader has remained about the same over the last 3 weeks, and 2021s are already on the lots in non carb states. 2021’s can be had for msrp off the lot (and even be ordered for msrp) so i would expect 3-5% off the 2020 if they are serious about selling. Unless of course they rather sit on it til someone pays up. Doesnt help that dealers only have between 1-3 of them in stock
There are a handful of preowned GT4s for sale, anywhere between 15% off the original msrp, to above msrp lol. Wonder how negotiable they are on the ones asking msrp/over for a used one

I don’t know if 100 cars is that significant. Expect some of those are customer sold autotrader scraps. With about 200 US dealers and some dealer having multiple...doesn’t seem like dealer panic time.

I like your optimism though...push hard and you may get a few gonks off a lot lizard. At this price point usually more important to get what you want not 1% off.
