Lots of GT4 inventory

Forgot about that. Just one more reason I didn't get the GT4, limited color choice(except PTS). After being out of favor for several years the blues have made a big comeback, Miami blue may be a big part of the reason. Other than the basic colors blues, greens, purples, etc. are cyclical.

Went to a dealer today to just ask about Spyder orders. 2 in line for next allocation and I would have been no 3. Can't afford it right now and may not be able to yet when the run of Spyders ends. I love this spec so I will most likely go used.
Dealer wanted 5k ADM on the Spyder for new buyers at the dealer. I guess it wasn't that bad but just can't see myself paying ADM for a car I don't think will be a unique build. If I went PTS than yea, 5k is worth it.

When you get around to ordering, I would look for another dealer unless they can get you a car where others can't. Out of the 10+ dealers that I talked to about a Spyder before I finally ordered, only one was adding ADM. It seems to be the exception and not the rule based on my experience.

Has anyone recently purchase a 2020 GT4 and can comment on the price paid? I found one I really like that's used with 700 miles asking 122k when MSRP is 129k. Not sure if that's an ok deal or not.

I bought a used 2020 GT4 in Jan'21 for $116K with a MSRP of $126K. It had 1300 miles but clean DME report. It had been on the lot for a few months and had started out at a price of $120K and brought it down to $117K when I bought it.. They also had another 2020 GT4 with delivery miles being sold as new so maybe they were more motivated to try and sell the 2020s. They had just gotten in two 2021 PDK GT4s as well.
Edit: Get the DME report to make sure no overrevs. With a clean DME, I personally would go for it at $7K off MSRP with only 700 miles. Especially if it is speced the way you want it. Another $1 - 2K off the price really is not going to make a difference in the long run.

If they wont certify or the options arent what you want - why pay for expensive options you dont care about- then wise to look elsewhere.

I think we are in a transitional time right now with allocations. The first batch are done and being built, and the next cycle hasn't yet been released by Porsche. I would expect the next round of allocations to open up late winter or early spring time.

One of our local dealers mentioned customers were sitting on allocations probably because of C19 or thinking on what they wanted to do so they decided to spec out the cars and get em ordered. Both cars were sold soon as they hit the dealer.
