I did see the GT4 but didn’t look at the window sticker that close. That is indeed interesting. I haven’t seen anything anywhere showing that so curious also why it would show that.

I bet you were excited to see your car!

Yes, very excited! Today was basically a big tease because I couldn’t take her home but it was still great to meet her in person!

Naive question for you all:
I have a Spyder on order which was initially expected late Jan 2021. This is my first P car that I have ordered. Is there some way for buyers to track their car's progress or do I have to harass the dealer for updates? When I ordered my BMW, there was a website you could use to follow all the details. Does Porsche have a similar system?
thanks
Ian

Currently you have to bug your dealer for updates. Obviously each SA is different, but a quick email usually sufficed to get me an update, most of the time with a screen print showing expected and actual dates. Once you initially receive this screen print, you can usually time your requests better.

I forgot to add that Porsche does have an app called Track Your Dream, but it's only available for 911s at this time. Supposedly it'll be opened up to other cars in the future.

Thanks Ron. It is strange that it is only for 911. You would think that once they built the software platform to do this, it wouldnt be much extra work to add more vehicles.

You wouldn’t say that if you followed the 992 threads. TYD doesn’t seem to work very well. Porsche makes terrific cars but they are lousy at software.

Interesting. The Porsche USA website still says 414 hp.

God bless,
