On the flip side, 20 years from now these "misprinted" Monroney Labels may be a collectors item

Cute comment but irrelevant. Porsche needs to correct this or risk facing multiple lawsuits and cancelled orders. You don't advertise a level of performance then change the game in mid flight without consequences. I for one will have to make a serious decision if mine shows up with this same "misprint". It literally causes the 2021 to lose value instantly. Think about the consequences 5 years from now, "oh, this is the 2021 not the higher HP 2020 model, I'll pass......".

I'm going to assume based on your's and other comments that it's a misprint and has been corrected the rest is an academic discussion. My comment regarding lawsuits / cancelled order my seem laughable but it's not. This misprint is a screw up on the Porsche side that does effect their reputation. If it's not a misprint it materially effects the value of the 2021 product, whether you agree or not. I deal with branding and brand reputation on a daily basis. Trust me, even the most petty thing you can think of effects the brand, it's the world we live in these days. Thank "Social media" for this..........

Some poor low-paid data entry clerk in Atlanta made a mistake and now mjw930’s going to have them shamed, doxed, and quartered on Twitter.
I will carefully scrutinize the sticker on my T when it gets here. Hopefully it comes with another 94 horsepower which disappear when I dyno test it. Then I can call mjw930 and put him to work.

Yup. When I did ED in 2015, I was in possession of the Monroney sticker before I jumped over the pond.

My comments on disgruntled customers was solely based on the premise that Porsche actually detuned the GT cars, which it’s now obvious they didn’t. Think of the Ford debacle a decade or so ago with the Shelby motors and you will understand where I’m coming from.
I know the scope of this is probably only a few dozen, maybe a few hundred cars but Porsche is really bad at managing issues like this. That was my premise. If they get in front of this instead of hoping it will go away with a few reprints or denials it damages the brand. If they take the simple step of writing a service memo to all US dealers telling them to order a reprint of any incorrect stickers and let their customers know it was just a clerical error they make lemonade from lemons. If everyone has to go asking for the confirmation it makes it look like they are hiding something. It’s all about perception.
