I have 3M Ventureshield on my basalt black 997.2, applied early 2012. I don't observe any colour changes on the PPF, it was polished last year to take out minor scuffs and looks great for old film tech.

This being said I had 3M Pro Series applied end of 2015 on a Glacier White Mettalic A6....I noticed yellowing of the film in a year. This car was parked outside.

Does anyone know for sure if Carrara White Metallic has a thicker clear coat as stated in other previous Rennlist threads? My CWM GT4 is due at the dealer any day now. I have an appointment for a full wrap but that’s not until mid August. I ordered Expel Trackwrap so I can enjoy once it arrives before getting done. Just curious if there’s any truth to it being “thicker” clear-coat as reported

Can you find a local shop with a paint meter? If they added additional layer of clearcoat, it will measure thicker! I actually want to find out how thick if mine too.....but don't know any shops with the device.
