PCCB - anything different other than calipers/rotors/pads
Searched and came up empty - besides the obvious, is there anything different about the PCCB system when it comes to the master cylinder or anything else?

I suspect steering knuckles & hub carriers are different. Sway bar links maybe. In general.
Might not be the case for the 4.0s since the stock brakes are gi-monstrous out of the box.
Note I wrote “suspect.” Anyone that is really interested can check online parts diagrams if they’re out yet.

When I briefly considered the conversion for my 981 Spyder, I recall it was calipers, rotors, pads, master cylinder and, possibly, a software re-flash related to the coding of the ABS function. I never got far enough to confirm whether that last part was required or not.

I think it depends on which car you have??? I did the retrofit for my 2011 987.2 Spyder and it required the Master Cylinder, Booster, Lines, front wheel carriers, sensors, Calipers and Pads. For that I used the parts catalog to determine what was different from the standard steels. Little difficult for the GTS 4.0, GT4 and Spyder as PNCA hasn't posted the parts catalog online yet. It was a fun winter project... took my time and did it right!

I think he’s writing about the Red Calipers fading to brown when used on the track. The ‘black caliper’ option available for the 4-liter 718s would be a good choice for those those intend to track.

I think the Master Cylinder and associated parts are same between Iron and PCCB's on cars that otherwise use the standard GT 380mm rotors (like GT3, GT4, 718 Spyder, etc). On cars that use smaller than GT 380mm brakes (like 981 Spyder), then there is a difference in MC and associated hardware. PCCB may have longer brake lines too...

All this, of course, assumes that the Black calipers will stay black. On the other hand, if they fade to gray you can claim that they started out as PSCB calipers where white faded to gray... and still be ahead. LoL.
