Anyone in the Los Angeles area have a Python Green car they could show me? I want to pull the trigger on one of these already but this color seems particularly hard to photograph and appears quite different in different lighting conditions and camera sensors.
It's actually a bit insane how hard this color is to photograph. Every single picture in this thread is 100% accurate but also not at the exact same time because it largely depends on lighting conditions. In my garage the color is a muted pastel. But in bright sunlight the color is a bright green. At night it's almost a teal in some cases. And this is just me looking at the car, if i try to photograph it in those conditions, the color can change even more.
I'll say this though. The color is LOUD. It turns heads everywhere. I always catch people turning their heads or taking photos. So keep that in mind. I like it personally, but if you aren't the kind of person that is ok with random strangers talking to you about your car, maybe stay away from the color.

At least that much is clear. I'm of two minds about that. Was trying to decide between Gentian Blue with yellow PCCB calipers which is gorgeous but under the radar and Python with black PCCBs. The bright color seems more fun and more fitting of a GT car where in my head I'd never have even considered the color when I was looking at a GTS which was always going to be Gentian. Anyway I think it looks great here but assume this is paler than it is in real life.

Yeah this is pretty pale and not really what the car looks like in person. Rahtok's last picture in his post is probably the closest to what it can look like on average in person. Its a lot darker in person that what the camera shows.
Love the stripe on the gt4. For me, I think the gt4 benefits from visual interest aspects like that. Gives it much more character (IMO). Well done!
Thank you! I definitely think so too. I remember we were kinda talking about that earlier in this thread and i'm really happy i made that decision. I thought it was going to be too much but i think its exactly what the car needed.
All right my green-loving peeps, I'd like your thoughts on the following 4RS build, used as a placeholder for a spyder rs, and also having to use Viper green as the closest (?) PTS match to the missing python shade. Does it work? Gold wheels working? Too much?
