Wasn’t referring to your comment, actually. Your comment just confused me. lol
But yes choosing to say you dislike something in order to praise how much it excels past the other failed instances is a passive aggressive attempt at an insult.
How is “I like your car” improved by “normally I dislike cars like yours, but YOURS manages to not entirely suck, like the others of its ilk”?
Answer: It isn’t.

FWIW, my incoming GT4 is shark blue with silver wheels, and only recently in the shark blue thread there was a big debate about silver/platinum/black wheels, with many sharing their strong dislikes for one of the other. It didn't bother me because I specced my car for me and couldn't care what anyone thinks, but everyone is also entitled to their own opinion. Feel free to share your opinion on my spec when I post pictures of it's arrival.

I like PG. I personally wouldn’t own it but I like to see it on other cars. It’s a happy color. I remember many years ago seeing an aircooled 911 which I think was a long hood. It was a vibrant green similar to PG but maybe a touch lighter, the license plate if I recall correctly was a very apropos Kermit. What a magnificent Porsche. What can I say, seeing that green 911 made me happy.

I guess I am from the (dying?) school of "if you don't have something nice to say..." Interesting point about the predicted spyder rs vents and such, but no one owns it yet, and it wasn't a thread by Porsche design team lauding that specific car, so I am not sure the correlation is a strong one. If it were a real car people owned, and they had a thread on it, I definitely would not post in the thread to celebrate that car that I disliked the car in any way.
I'm telling you some people perceive back-handed compliments as just that. The feedback can be ignored / refuted, but that goes to the original point.
To be clear, I do no think anyone NEEDS to like PG. Color perception and reaction are 100% personal. Vive la difference!

Love how this color changes depending on the light. I miss mine already since its in the shop and I only had 2 days with it since delivery before I dropped her off.

Told you. Look how rich that green is in that light. It's a true chameleon. And so far, I love them all (although, obviously, some more than others lol).

This is awesome. I remember seeing a 991.1 RS in the Lizard Green once and knowing if I ever got a Porsche/High ends sports car, it would be in a green. Granted I think I would have chosen Python Green regardless as green is my favorite color, but man this takes me back. For me these sort of light greens really scream sports car and I can't stop staring at mine.

Forum mystery question...if the summary page says there is a Last Post by User XYZ, but it is missing from here, does that mean it got deleted by mods? I'm guessing. Someone with some extra salty input on the GREEN question. lol
Later…okay, now it appeared below. Confused.

Taken today on my iPhone 8+. Figured this is a good place to show the sill of a Python Green BGTS with Lizard Green Belts. Hope it can help some make their decision on choosing Lizard Belts for their Python builds:
