I am still on the waitlist for a 718 GTS, but Python Green has really grown on me. If I were to get an allocation, I was thinking of the interior being espresso and cognac. Thoughts on this color scheme with the green? I have not seen anyone with that combo. I do know espresso and cognac goes terrific with shark blue, as a backup.

I almost always default to black interiors, but that said I don't personally think these colors you mention work with Python. But for me I'd only really ever go with black or brown. The natural leather you get in the 000 Spyders is gorgeous and would work well with say a dark green, but Python is more "sporty" and doesn't play as well with tan or brown to my eye. Porsche San Diego sold an Underberg Green Cayman GTS 4.0 that was a fun build with the gold wheels and then a black interior with beige stitching to tie together the wheel color. I thought that worked really nicely. Anyway people can give advice or comment on opinions of taste but at the end of the day it's about what you like and what makes you happy. There are plenty of members here with tan interiors on Python and even gold wheels to go with. Different strokes for different folks.

They chose that for the the Cayman / Boxster GTS 4.0 brochure for a reason.

I also had the brake calipers painted in black, which is ridiculous. They should already be black or just unpainted. That really makes me made but the black looks better with a simple 1 color plus black scheme.

it is your car and you should choose what you like. I’m just sharing my opinion which means nothing except to me.
Thank you for your suggestions and perspectives! I know color scheme is highly personal, but imo it is just as important to get some differing perspective.

Maybe the actual owners will see this and post, but here's a picture of what you're looking for, if I'm understanding correctly.

No worries. I sent them a message separately, and sounds like they're happy to help.

I'm around - just don't lurk the forums that often. Happy to take additional pics of the Espresso/Cognac if someone wants something specific. This is actually my wife's car, and the original spec was for all this w/Irish Green PTS. But then they added PG to the extra color palette and I wondered a bit if all of the brown would still work for us with the brighter green. Fortunately PG is a warm green, and takes to the browns pretty well. It's definitely a 'bold' spec though. Between the Aurum wheels, PG itself, and the brown top... she gets noticed. Though the top is only up if it's actively raining.

I actually love how bold it is. So many people tend to play it safe with these cars. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But i also feel like this is one of the few cars where you can really express yourself.

@Rahtok Thank you so much for sharing these hi-res images! I am a huge fan of the espresso / cognac interior and having it on PG or SB is at the top of my wishlist. From your pics, this combo looks great!

Anyone in the Los Angeles area have a Python Green car they could show me? I want to pull the trigger on one of these already but this color seems particularly hard to photograph and appears quite different in different lighting conditions and camera sensors.
