I def think our cars look darker in person than they do in pictures. However pictures need to be lightened up to show the vibrance of Python. The longer i own the car the happier i am that i went with this color. Its just stunning.

Haven't seen many Python with platinum wheels. I like it.

I considered platinum wheels; I too think it looks quite good. Although I do like my black wheels, sometimes it can seem pretty dark.

What do folks think is the closest PTS color to python (since python seems to have fallen off the planet)? Essen? Viper?

I ordered my python BGTS with platinum. I considered the different "basic" (as opposed to the colors you get with the Carrera wheels) wheel colors for a long time before settling on platinum. I felt it goes with python the best, with the two free options looking either too bright or too dark when paired with python. I should probably upload a picture at some point...

And my track wheels are Satin Blk and Anthracite which should cover all the bases.

Although I do like the platinum, I still prefer the black wheels with Python, especially with yellow calipers.
