The Official Racing Yellow Color Thread

I know... I'm slacking....
But, in my defense, when it comes to taking pictures or driving I'm guilty of driving!
@TXshaggy is putting me to shame as far as photos go! I did get to go out for a drive today, and I posted a recap here with one REALLY crappy iPhone picture. Unfortunately my Xpel PPF had several imperfections that have to be addressed, so right after my drive I had to return it to the shop for corrections. Since I had to get these issues resolved I've been unable to do the paint sealing / waxing as I'd planned, but I'm very, very thankful for my "first world" problems!
I'll get it back tomorrow afternoon from the PPF shop, but then I'm out of town through the weekend. I promise once I get back I'll post some good pictures. @TXshaggy has set the bar high as far as really nice photos goes (NICE job!!) but I think I'm up to the challenge! Game on!
I know all "yeller" fans are in the minority but Racing Yellow s an absolutely stunning color. I couldn't be happier!

I heard that's the best way to do it as they will come off more easily should you change your mind or a subsequent owner not want them (as getting them factory can be challenging to remove).

I've been waiting almost a month for a Spyder allocation and the dealer finally came through. I dropped off my GR 981 Boxster GTS yesterday and signed all the papers. Looks like I'll be joining the RY group in March. The vehicle locked right away, but I already had my configuration completed. Porsche code PMCBSKU9. I was tempted by GB, but I was really put off my the purple reflections. I previously owned a Rio Yellow S2K that always looked fantastic, so I'm thrilled to have another yellow car.
