Super nice build; congrats! The months will fly by...well kind of.

It's going to seem like a long wait, but at least it will be in the worst of winter. January through March is not a great time for a Spyder in Ohio.

Got back a little early.... Not garage pics, but just about as bad.... driveway! I'm doing this in a big hurry as the kids / grandkids will be here any minute. Car is filthy as I drove it home from PPF in the rain and haven't done ANYTHING to it, but perhaps this will answer some of the interior questions re: the extended deviation stitching (or whatever it's called). More, better, pics to come next week!

Before someone asks the video camera is a Blackvue that I moved from my 911 GTS. Obviously I didn't use the rear camera in the Boxster! The radar detector is a Uniden R7, and the mount is a Blendmount BR7-2021.

Beautiful ride! I’d love to have those memory buttons...oh well; Spyder requires patience.

Love the leather—very clean!

Come back often!

Thanks! The best part of the memory system is the "Comfort Access" which automatically moves the seat all the way back and down as far as it will go when you turn the car off making it MUCH easier to get out and back in. I ain't as spry as I once was!!!

If there were 3 things I wish the GT4/Spyder had at least as options are keyless entry & go, memory seats, and blind spot assist with blind spot assist being most critical on Spyder when top is up.

The one option I'd love to have is a completely automated convertible top. After that would be parking sensors in the FRONT, not just the back. Third would be blind spot assist. I thought I'd miss the seat memory in my Spyder, but to my surprise I don't -- I'm able to leave the steering wheel and mirrors as they are and adjust only one of the controls on the 18-way seat to get in/out and set up for driving. Keyless entry & go is another item I'm surprised I miss only a little.

Thanks! If the Racing Yellow had a redish-orange tint to it perhaps here is the reason. Here's a pic of our sunset that was shot from approximately the same location as the car pics were taken just a little while afterwards.....

An automated top is at the top of my list as well, but to have it we would have to give up the beautiful trunk lid on the Spyder, or endure a heavy and complicated mechanism like that on a 911 Targa. This is definitely a case of beauty over function.

I'd be perfectly fine with an auto-top Boxster R sporting everything on the Spyder except the manual top and the humps. With the Spyder stance, wheels, and front/rear it would look excellent too.

Here’s a lowered GTS with a GT4 rear diffuser.
